Specifically, it operates the seven-property Hotel Unizo chain of upscale business hotels and Hotel Querega Tenjin. The Hotel Unizo properties are in prime locations in Tokyo (Shimbashi, Shibuya, Kanda, and Asakusa), Kyoto, Osaka (Yodoyabashi), and Hiroshima. With an average occupancy rate of around 80%, well above the industry average of 65% (per Japan City Hotel Association survey data), the Hotel Business has a high operating gross margin.
