Golf Course Business
The Yachiyo Golf Club (in Yachiyo, Chiba Prefecture) is a public golf course with 50 years of history and tradition behind it. The first public course to open in Chiba Prefecture, it is located 40 km from Tokyo, easily accessible by car or train from Tokyo within about 60 minutes. Widely loved by local golfers and played by some 60,000 golfers annually, it is one of the most popular courses in Greater Tokyo.
The golf course is flat with a superb layout in a lush natural setting. It is maintained in top condition year-round and its entire staff, particularly the caddies, is committed to providing highly attentive service with an emphasis on cordiality.
In response to recent growth in the golfing population, particularly among senior citizens and women, the Club is endeavoring to further improve its service quality and enhance customer satisfaction through such means as upgrading its facilities and planning various tournament events.
